Jan is the founder and CEO of Travolon.
He is a seasoned travel, tourism and hospitality industry manager, executive and specialist. A Belgian national, during his international career he held management and board level positions in various multinational organizations. International purchaser for a Pan European tour operator, Marketing Director at Center Parcs, Managing Director of the West European Leisure Group and CEO for North and Central Europe with First Choice: all these positions were held in challenging conditions, fast changing environments and a fierce competitive environment.
Today, He is senior partner of Passaat International, a consulting, training and knowledge centre for the travel industry. They handle a vast portfolio of assignments in the international travel sector: hospitality, real estate development, travel retail and trade communication. Besides these activities he's a guest professor at the Xios Management School and a frequent guest speker at international seminars and conferences.
A true "Tourism Evangelist", he is permanently excited about the interesting, challenging times that we live in, full of opportunities. The travel industry is changing @ the speed of light, the future is so bright that we have to wear shades when looking at it.
