Jan Peters - Publisher
Jan Peeters is a seasoned travel, tourism and hospitality
industry specialist. A Belgian national, during his international career Jan has held management and board level
positions in various multinational organizations. International
purchaser for a Pan European tour operator, Marketing Director at
Center Parcs and Accor Group, Managing Director of the West European Leisure Group and
CEO for North and Central Europe with First Choice: all these positions
were held in challenging conditions, fast changing environments and a
fierce competitive environment.
Today,
Jan is senior partner of Passaat International, a consulting-,
training and knowledge centre for the travel industry. Passaat handles
a vast
portfolio of assignments in the international travel sector:
hospitality, real estate development, travel retail and trade
communication. Jan is also a senior trainer with Altep Technologies, a
company specialized in training and personal development. Besides these
activities he is a guest professor at the
Xios Management School in Hasselt, Belgium and a frequent guest
speaker and debater at international
seminars and conferences.
In June 2009 Jan founded Travolon and created
the Travolon Group of companies.

Kastelein is an adept team player - a publisher, writer, photographer, marketing
director, web developer and graphic designer with more than 20 years
experience in the development and operation of newspapers, magazines,
web media and marketing of multinational, companies in international
settings.
A Well travelled yachtsman and traveller (24,000 nm offshore - two Transatlantics/one
TransPac), with outstanding problem solving skills, he published first article
to crewing on boats as a lifestyle called 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to
the Sea' in 1991. Lived aboard sailboats in Caribbean for a decade and
built €1.200.000 catamaran in Brazil in 2004. He is an Open Source Evangelist and has written for Pacific Yachting, BBC,TNT London and other international magazines, broadcast media and newspapers.
